Classification by thickenerThickener: Lithium with solid lubricants (MoS2 + graphite)
MoS2 and Graphite Greases
Emergency and high-load lubrication with molybdenum disulphide and graphite
MoS2 (molybdenum disulphide) and graphite greases combine a lithium soap structure with highly effective lamellar solid lubricants. The MoS2 and graphite form a solid lubricating film on metal surfaces that persists even when the base oil film breaks under extreme load or very high temperature.

Characteristics
- MoS2 and graphite — dual lamellar solid lubrication
- Solid film persisting up to 350°C in the absence of oil
- Extremely low friction coefficient (μ ≈ 0.05–0.1)
- Protection under dry start and impact load conditions
- Significantly reduces adhesive wear (scoring)
Typical applications
- Cardan shafts and CV joints in heavy vehicles
- Open gears and high-load chains
- Joints, pins and bushings in heavy machinery
- Emergency lubrication in failure situations
- High-load cam mechanisms and followers
Sectors
Automotive & vehiclesMiningSteel & foundryConstructionGeneral industry
Key advantages
- Protects during dry start — solid film pre-established on surfaces
- Ideal for applications with long regreasing intervals
- Reduces frictional heating under extreme loads
- Compatible with centralised greasing systems in NLGI 0 version
