Slow Quenching Oil (Martempering)

Martempering and austempering for high-alloy steels with minimum distortion

Slow synthetic-base quenching oil for martempering and austempering of high-alloy steels, stainless steels and cast irons. The elevated bath temperature (100–200°C) drastically reduces thermal gradients during quenching, minimising dimensional distortion in precision and complex geometry parts. The synthetic base ensures oil stability at elevated working temperatures and long service life without degradation. Viscosity ISO VG 68 to 150.
