Polymer Quenching Medium

PAG aqueous alternative to oil — non-flammable for aluminium, stainless and special alloys

PAG (polyalkylene glycol) based aqueous polymer quenching medium as an alternative to conventional quenching oil for aluminium parts, stainless steels and special alloys. Cooling rate is adjustable by concentration (5–20%): higher concentration = slower cooling. Non-flammable — eliminates fire risk in the heat treatment facility. Quenched parts are easily cleaned with water. Compatible with standard recirculation and filtration systems.
